Hela of a way to work

Letters

IT is a pity that public servants in Hela were not at work.
I saw many in Port Moresby and I thought that they were all either elected MPs or election officials.
DPM secretary John Kali announced prior to the issue of writs that no public servant are to be engaged in politics by showing support in cash, material or time.
Hela public servants defied that directive totally and all deserved to be punished, from the provincial administrator down to the clerks.
Shame on them for mucking around towns and cities while being paid for work not being done. No wonder we wasted five years: Too many chiefs.
Over to you, Mr PA and Governor.
