Mega Mall the perfect runway for fashion event

PNG Fashion Week Ltd will host six runway shows at Vision City Mega Mall, managing-director Philma Kelegai says.
Kelegai said Vision City is a major partner with PNG Fashion Week for its 2018 fashion event, therefore, the runway will be set up at the mall’s main walkway in front of the shops.
The event is called PNG Fashion Week 2018.
Vision City general-manager Anderson Ting said they were happy to be part of the fashion show.
Kelegai said the partnership was essential to foster the growth of the fashion, beauty and textile industry.
“We need to create an appetite for this market,” she said.
“We need to influence the consumers’ mindset and behaviour towards this industry.
“What better way to do this than in the biggest, safest and most-popular shopping destination in the nation.”
Kelegai said the mall was strategic because it put fashion houses, local designers and local talent in direct contact with the public.
