Port Moresby cabbie Brian Poiya has won K10,000 worth of fuel from Puma Energy Ltd.
Southern Highlander Poiya, who works as a taxi driver for Dees Taxi Services owned by his elder brother, is the winner of a year-long competition run by Puma Energy.
“I am very happy today and thank Puma Energy for the Puma Energy Madness Programme,” he said.
Puma Energy ran a ‘Free Fuel for the Year’ promotion for vehicles using its service stations. The promotion was from April 1 to May 31.
It offered weekly and fortnightly prizes before the major draw of ‘Free Fuel for the Year’ for one lucky winner in each region.
The promotion was only open to cash and Eftpos customers who refuelled at any participating outlet and spent K50 on fuel.
There were two winners for each weekly draw and another two winners for the fortnightly draws.
The weekly prize was a 4.5 gas cylinder with a free regulator and the fortnightly prize was a K500 Brian Bell voucher.
