CONXIONS Ltd, a PABX telephone systems supplier, has installed the latest PABX system at the PNG Electoral Commission Haus in Hohola for the national election next year.
The new facility runs on Linux SUSE server.
The company said Aastra MX-ONE is a complete communication system with 500 different features and had unrivalled capabilities for all kind of users.
It is designed for small, medium to large enterprises (from 50 up to 500,000 end users in one single system).
Voice, data and video applications are put together in one network, Conxions said.
It can be deployed in any fashion, whether centralised or distributed, one system or networked systems and with the choice of redundancy.
The system is a comprehensive unified communication (UC) solution, ranging from communications system and terminals to mobility solutions and advanced applications, such as unified messaging, contact centre, mobile clients, and attendant solutions.
A similar system was also installed by Conxions at the University of Technology in Lae last week.
