HEKARI United yesterday consolidated their lead on the Telikom National Soccer League with a commanding 3-0 win over Morobe Mining Joint Venture (MMJV) Bulolo FC at Lloyd Robson Oval yesterday.
Coming from the scoreless opening half, Hekari regrouped to score through Ian Yanum who collected a deflection from Kema Jack to score putting them in front in the best passage of the half 1-0.
The game see-sawed until Fiji import Pita Bolaitoga scored his second goal in the NSL while Raymond Gunemba added the final nail in the Bulolo coffin with a brilliant rebound from Hans to seal the match.
After yesterday’s match Hekari now lead the competition on 19 points while early pacesetters Gigira Laitepo Central (13) fell to fourth spot after drawing 0-0 with Eastern Star.
