2 detained for molesting minors

TWO men are waiting for their court dates in the police lockup in Daru for allegedly molesting minors.
One is accused of raping a seven-year-old girl in her house last week and the other is charged with sexually assaulting a girl aged between six and seven at Texas Kona.
South Fly police commander Supt Brian Kombe said in the first case, the man committed the offence and ran away, leaving the girl injured and in pain.
The girl’s father took her to hospital where she was treated.
The man was charged with rape.
In the second case, police said, the man took the girl into a toilet, removed his clothes and told the girl to play with his private part.
He said the girl cried and ran away and reported it to her brother. The family then reported the matter to police.
