Fake Asian products threatens our health

I AM putting a challenge to NCD Governor Powes Parkop and other concerned MPs to do away with Chinese and other Asian products in terms of cold drinks and food stuff.

There is a flood of low quality drinks  and food that are risky for human consumption, but are sold everywhere in the city.

The government is ignorant in addressing these issues and many people, mostly low income earners, are feeding on this rubbish.

Many of those products sold are not medically tested and are highly dangerous as they can cause medical problems in the long term.

Most of the products are out-of-date, exposed to heat before being moved into stores and are manipulating the market with their fake brands.

Parkop is emphasising on keeping the city clean and he has put the ban on betel nuts.

He does not realise that the health and lives of the people living in the city are more important.

Therefore, the NCDC must do something the sale of these fake products.

City rangers must be employed not  only to chase betel nut sellers away, but must also go from one Asian shop to another to remove any fake brands or products that are being sold.
