Tigers name side to train for Ipatas Cup

LAE Snax Tigers have announced their train-on squad to start physical skills and fitness training for the Coca-Cola Ipatas Cup playoffs starting this month.
The management said they had chosen a team based on  potential and were adamant they would shine on the day.
Thirty-seven players  selected, will  assemble at the Lae Rugby League grounds at 4pm today for briefing and instructions. The squad will be trimmed down based on player training performances. 
The team: Kerry Tapako, Amos Mini, Wanpis King, James Kend, Joe Wemin, Sydney Fred, John Kamana, Aiku David, Manu Gairo jr, Bernard Pos, Iron Ate, Mathias Sekum, David Loko, James Meninga, Norbert Torato, Benson Joel, Manik Maipa, Elizah Tipaul, James Pologau, Russell Penias, Junior Belo, Dama Philip, Martin Yanda, Mai Tom, Alfie Nima, Peter Pyala, Mark Mexico, Russ Kaupa Jr, Michael Gawi, Jordan Wau, Lawrence Goive, Sense Pisimi, Jerry Kuts, Beckstar Tagu, Moses Ombun, Yoba Nime and Nixon Kohi.
