A GROUP of 23 participants received certificates from the Human Development Institute after completing a trade store management course last Friday.
Lae institute coordinator and business coach Paul Wiau said their signature training programme was the personal viability business scheme.
Wiau said they were reviving the stretpasin stoa scheme in PNG with the introduction of the trade store management course to train Papua New Guineans to own and manage their retail stores. He said the 23 participants attended the course but only 13 received certificates.
Lydia Maroroa, one of the seven females who received the trade store management certificate said she learnt a lot from that course.
