MORE than 300 students participated in the Port Moresby Nature Park’s “Environment and Me” school excursion programme yesterday. National Capital District Governor Powes Parkop launched the programme and said while the world faced the issue of climate change, everyone was reminded daily about the safety and sustainability of the environment. He said previous generations had polluted and degraded the environment and it was up to the present and future generations to protect it. “Port Moresby Nature Park is an outstanding place to remind us about the importance of our ecosystem,” Parkop said.
