Church to host meeting

THE Reverend Sione Kami Memorial Church (RSKMC) will host the country’s first ever cell group conference, according to the church.
The conference, to be held in Port Moresby from June 24 to 25, is aimed at growing the body of Christ in the country so pastors and leaders with a vision to grow the church is invited.
The church’s administrator Zacchaeus Mallar said Dr Joel Comiskey, an internationally-recognised cell church coach and consultant, would be the keynote speaker.
He said Comiskey had written best-selling books on the worldwide cell group movement, served as a missionary in Ecuador, planted cell churches in the United States and coached pastors in cell-based ministry.
Research had shown that the most effective methodology for evangelism was through cell group planting.
Topics the conference would cover included Biblical foundations for cell ministry, making disciples in the cell ministry, the importance of prayer in the cell ministry, small group dynamics, history of cell ministry, myths and truths of cell church, gifts of the spirit in cells, effective cell leadership and cell coaching.
Registration fee is K100 per person and K150 for a family.
