Let’s give Gene a chance

Uncategorized

THOSE who are quick to doubt Stanley Gene’s coaching ability and skills should express their opinions with a sound argument.
After 20 years of playing top grade rugby league, he has obviously come of age.
By now, he ought to be a master tactician.
He conquered the world of rugby league in his late teens when PNG was still sleeping.
He is a true icon of PNG and I am sure the players look up to him.
All coaches are the same but it takes a special coach to make the “players believe” in themselves.
For the record, I know that Gene has a coaching certificate and was an assistant coach with his club in England for sometime.
Please give him a chance and we can do the post-mortem after the Four Nations.
