Poor police behaviour

Letters

POLICE misconduct seems to be common nowadays despite efforts to revamp the force with training, leadership and funding.
This is from Thursday, July 24, 2017. I was a visitor sitting in a residential yard when dusk crept over Morata in Port Moresby.
In the neighbourhood, I heard the noise of domestic violence involving adultery.
A policeman, probably in his late 20s, had arrived home with another woman in a taxi and both jumped into his marital bed, only to be caught in the act by his wife and their neighbours.
There was much shouting and screaming and someone was being naked in front of everyone else.
If the scene was in a cinema, the Censorship Board would have restricted it to adult viewing only, but not there out in the community.
Police bosses need to instil better discipline on their  officers.
