PUBLIC Service Minister Elias Kapavore, pictured, says suspended Madang administrator Danny Aloi has been reinstated after the provincial assembly passed a resolution.
He said at the same time, the appointment of the acting administrator John Bivi was revoked.
“We are just executing the resolutions that the Madang assembly had passed last Tuesday,” Kapavore said.
He said that Aloi was suspended by Madang Governor Peter Yama last month for not responding to him about allegations of official corruptions.
Yama had suspended Aloi prior to a National Court decision that nullified his election.
“However, Aloi has already responded to us on the allegations and we are in the process of reviewing his responses,” Kapavore said.
“We will advise him accordingly of the outcome of our decision. But right now he will commence as the provincial administrator,”
