Settlements seen as home for criminals

Letters

SETTLEMENTS are safe havens and resting and meal places for murderers, rapists, buai sellers, street vendors, pick pocketers, bag snatchers, street roamers, bank robbers, car thieves and the list goes on.
The unwanted population that took shelter in settlements come out onto city streets and public places creating overcrowding, congestion and headaches for city commuters, women, girls and school children.
The streets of Port Moresby are no longer safe for people to move around.
It is becoming as a nightmare.
Our NCD Governor, City Manager and Met Sup must intervene and save our nation’s capital.
