Which Andrew Baing is this?

I JUST read in the local daily that a Mr Andrew Baing has just been appointed the new chairman for Kumul Petroleum Holdings Limited (KPHL).
Is this the same person who was the Member for Markham and at one stage the Deputy Prime Minister?
Is this the same person who was dismissed by the Leadership Tribunal in 2006 from holding public office after he was found guilty of misappropriation of DSG funds?
If this is the same person, why has be appointed to this position?
Isn’t this KPHL position a public office?
The Prime Minister has heaped praise on this man as a strong leader and a very experienced statesman. What nonsense is this?
Who cares if he has those traits?
The most important value is integrity and honesty in holding senior positions, the other traits don’t matter if integrity is not there.
Can the Opposition and Ombudsmen Commission investigate this?
