IT is rare to see a banana sucker bearing fruit at an infant stage. Joseph Maya from Menyamya, Morobe, who resides at Lae’s Speedway settlement said he planted the banana three months ago.
He was surprised to see that the plant started to bear fruit.
Maya said people, seeing the banana, said it was some sort of message from mother nature.
