THE ongoing campaign by Puma Energy continues to support the St John ambulance (SJA) Covid-19 operations through the “one toea per litre” donation has enabled it to deliver consistent ambulance services.
First part of the donation, totalling K33,640 from the “fill up, feel good” campaign, was made in May, and K38,100 was donated again yesterday.
Puma downstream general manager Stephen Bell said the second donation was from the May sales, which would assist SJA’s operations.
“We thank all our loyal customers in Port Moresby for buying from our retail sites,” he said.
“It is through their support that we have been able to raise these much needed funds.
“We also thank our retail partners and their employees in supporting this worthy cause.”
SJA chief executive officer Matthew Cannon said the partnership had aided St John in delivering the much needed emergency and pre-hospital health care services.
“It has enabled us to immediately and effectively deliver ambulance services with maximum mobility.”
Cannon said the donation would continue to improve and support this course with frontline health care and emergency service.
He said refilling with Puma Energy contributed to saving lives and St John was thankful for its support.
