ABOUT 500 women from the Lutheran healing ministry church of PNG have gathered to celebrate the second women’s national crusade at Nondugl in Jiwaka.
The crusade was opened last Sunday at Nondugl in North Waghi by the ministry’s senior pastors and elders.
Creative dance and Christian activities performed by youths and mothers representing each of the provinces they come from added meaning to the opening ceremony.
Lutheran healing ministry senior pastor Andrew Kulan said the crusade was attended by women, mostly mothers, throughout the country and would end tomorrow.
He said this was the second women’s crusade to preach the Good News of Jesus Christ through the healing of the sick, miracles, signs and wonders.
Pr Kulan said the ministry came into existence four years ago with the purpose of praying and ask God to manifest his powers through the healing of the sick and setting people free from the bondage of sin and curses.
He said today, people and society in general, were facing many problems in life and needed God’s guidance.
Pr Kulan said the crusade was focused on helping those who were lost and had no direction.
“Many people are living in all sorts of bondage and this is why they do not realise the importance of life,” he said.
