Polye made the right move

THE supporters of Don Polye are sad that one of our finest sons has lost his seat through the court.
Mr Polye is one of the best performing ministers in the Government.
He has accepted the decision of the court calmly, which is a sign of mature leadership. 
He has made the right decision not to go for Supreme Court review as it takes a lot of time.
If he had done that, the end result would be the people of Kandep losing out as basic services would also come to a stop.
For Mr Polye to go for a by-election shows that he has the people of Kandep and the nation at heart and he is confident of repeating his 2007 win.
It is also pleasing to note that the Electoral Commissioner has set the dates for the by-election.
