Thank God for blessings

PNG is about to celebrate its 40th independance anniversary and the Yangoru-Saussia people have just renewed what they call the “covenant”. I believe the elders and the leaders of their district have done the right thing but they must be careful on the effects it will have on their people if they disobey the covenant. They are saying that they are crossing over to the Promise Land – the land filled with milk and honey. The Promised Land is the land that God promised the Israelites and Moses led his people out of Egypt to fullfil that promise. So stop spiritualising because the covenant is only a blessing. Just say thank you to God for all his blessings.
