Abusing office

Letters

There are a number of primary schools in Okapa, Eastern Highlands, which have heads who are unattached to a class.
It turns out to be an ideal avenue for the teachers to hide and earn.
The heads have been without a class for a good number of years.
However, they are still entitled to TsO5 salary packages.
How on earth can one be paid without the actual job being done? Can it be justified?
I am so curious as a concerned parent and citizen.
Under which subsection of the Education Act does it grant permission for a head to be without a class?
Is it legitimate? Please it should be justified.
I have been observing and to my dismay, they frequently travel into town for who knows what.
They never settle at their designated locations as required. It is amazing! What kind of a perplexed administrative business are they engaged in?
This is frustrating as it is occurring right under the noses of the so called district educational authorities.
Blind eyes have been turned to this detrimental phenomenon.
They are well paid, from tax payers’ money, to securitise schools.
The situation is speaking loudly for itself. These egocentric bosses are operating in the streets of Goroka, abusing the public office.
My district is declining in terms of educational development.
Therefore, I am appealing to the educational authorities in Goroka to look into this concern immediately.
Eradicate these lazy, groggy, egocentric officers who are abusing these prominent positions.
Replace them with vibrant and job oriented officers.
If you are a non-teaching head in Okapa, you are more than a robber.
You deserve to be punished.
Your fingers should be shameful to receive money from the ATM.
Be reminded that you are classroom teachers by profession and not graduated managers.
If you’re tired of serving, I advise you to retire.
