Address continuous blackouts in Banz

Letters

CAN the PNG Power office at Banz address the continuous power blackouts experienced in the Bunum Wo and Kimil areas?
Institutions like Christian Leaders Training College, EBC Giramben Primary School, Waghi Valley Secondary School, Sigri Primary School, WRC Bunum Wo Estate, Kalanga Coffee Factory, Kimil Primary School, Kimil Health Centre, Kimil TVET, almost 30 churches, elementary schools and private buildings and properties are affected.
Electricity light is only being seen lighting up the Kilip, Warakar and Sigri areas whereas the densely populated areas in the western end are suffering in the dark.
Who is the manager for the PNG Power Banz office?
If there is a fault with transformers, transmission lines, or poles, please fix it quick.
Students and teachers need electricity as well as health centres and factories.
Power seems to go off for two to three weeks and then comes on for a day or two and goes off again.
Are the PNG power workers playing games with people?
If the power cuts are made due to illegal connections or non-payment of bills, then PNG Power should disconnect power to that particular user and not making blanket cuts.
If the cuts are deliberately done by PNG Power workers or by some greedy members of the community at Sigri, may their family and generation be cursed.
If there is an electrical fault, then why can’t it be fixed once and for all?
