Address inflation

Letters

EVERY week, the prices of basic goods and services are skyrocketing.
Inflation is just killing us ordinary citizens and wage earners are paying high taxes.
Can the Government or relevant authorities like ICCC and IRC explain to us why prices of basic items like rice, tinned fish, salt, cooking oil, sugar, noodles and fuel are increasing at a very high rate?
Maybe the Government is trying to refinance loans by increasing taxes, who knows.
Can the Prime Minister and Treasurer tell the people of this nation “how much does PNG owe from external borrowing?”
The buying power of the Kina has depreciated greatly.
The ability of our foreign reserves to finance a budget deficit seems incapable.
Looks like we are incurring so much debt from external borrowing to finance our budget deficit.
Our currency is weak and useless against the US and Australian dollars.
Where are we positioning our country right now?
Is the future outlook of our economy promising?
I am worried about the future of our kids and am starting to be suspicious that they will bear the responsibility to repay massive loans to external borrowing.
By that time, we will lose all our natural resources just to refinance these loans and we will not benefit from anything.
I agree with a Joshua Pikip Kimin’s post on Facebook that employers should factor the consumer price index increase onto the base salary.
This would enable salary and wage earners to at least have enough to spend to sustain themselves in the two weeks while waiting for the next pay.
We’re seeing the rich getting richer and poor getting poorer.
Bible prophecy is fulfilling just right before our eyes.
These are end time events that are persecuting us.
Just imagine if PNG faces a situation where it cannot repay all its loans and asks the International Monetary Fund to bail it out from this dilemma.
This would result in a scenario where the World Bank might declare PNG bankrupt and takes over our country.
It will set conditions for us to follow which will be the New World Order – divide and rule; one government, one currency, one day of worship, which is mark of the beast.
It will be the tribulation period.
Just my assessment and prediction.
