Affordable farm machinery

 I REFER to the article, “PM urges farmers to work the land”. The prime minister is spot on with agriculture as it is a sustainable natural resource for our country and everyone will certainly agree. With all the incentives the government is offering, one important incentive the government must consider to boost agriculture is for the government to offer affordable farm machinery by way of subsidy. Any machinery purchased for the purpose of agriculture should be subsidised by the government. 

This will encourage and attract public and private sector employees leaving employment not to stay in towns and cities engaging in informal sector but head back home to work the land.
