Central Governor Robert Agarobe is encouraging students from his province who are attending tertiary institutions “to think big and differently in life and be smarter than their peers”.
Agarobe was speaking during the presentation of four laptops to students from Pacific Adventist University and University of PNG at his office in Konedobu last Friday.
“What we are doing is not a free handout,” he said.
“This is part of preparing you and building you up to be special and different.
“This is the importance of this.
“We need to groom you and guide you, so you make the right decisions. You need to be focused.
“I like to think that you are special and you have to think that you are special.”
Agarobe told the students that the laptops were not free gifts.
He also told them that they had to be serious about doing part-time jobs at Central provincial administration as agreed.
