Airline giving away free tickets for group travel

FREE return tickets are being given by Air Niugini to individuals who organise travels for a group of 15 or more under the airlines Ab-Free (Absolutely Free) promotion.
The promotion is being carried out jointly by Air Niugini and subsidiary companies, Link PNG and Business Travel Centre (BTC).
BTC general manager Floyd Smith, the co-coordinater of the promotion, said the initiative involves Air Niugini’s domestic and international flights, targeting first time travellers in a group.
“We will offer the best available group fare and as long as a minimum of 15 adults travel. The Group Travel Organiser (GTO) will receive an absolutely free return ticket from Air Niugini, with no extra charges,” Smith said.
“Furthermore, the GTO can either travel with the group or by themselves to an alternative Air Niugini destination, however, the travel status will vary and these details will be communicated to the GTO by the travel officer handling the booking.
A group with 30 people or more will earn the GTO two free tickets.
Should the group number fall below 15, the Ab-Free Return Ticket will not be awarded. Once a group of 15 or more travellers are confirmed at the time of booking, a 10 per cent non-refundable deposit is required with the balance of payment made within 30 days from departure date.
“This promotion does not include travel for funeral groups, contra groups, travel for known events such as national sporting titles or code-share flights.”
The GTO must be 18 years or above and should liaise directly with BTC, Air Niugini Travel Centre or their preferred travel agent.
