Aitsi joins TI board

PETER Aitsi has been appointed to the board of Transparency International (PNG).
Aitsi was the chairman of TIPNG last year before resigning in October to take up his appointment as the programme director of the Strongim Pipol Strongim Nesen.
Chairman of TIPNG Lawrence Stephens said Aitsi had a wealth of experience playing senior roles in the private sector, community development, communications industry and civil socie­ty.
Aitsi said he remained committed to the values and principles espoused by Transparency International.
