THE 32-year-old man who allegedly raped his two step daughters, aged six and nine, escaped from Madang’s Jomba police station on Monday.
Madang commander Supt Mazuc Rubiang said the man fled by jumping over a fence when the police station was on lockdown.
“There were only a handful of policemen in the station when the man slipped away and escaped.

Supt Rubiang appealed to the public to provide information on the whereabouts of the fugitive.
“The offence the man committed is serious,” he added.
