Always appreciate mothers, wives: Marape

PRIME Minister James Marape is urging everyone to treat mothers with respect every day and not just on Mother’s Day (yesterday).
“It is not just on one day that we show our appreciation for our mothers and wives, then forget about them for the rest of the year,” he said.
“The way we build a stronger society and nation starts at home, in the way we treat each other in the family.
“A father taking good care of his wife and children, thus, we all contribute to looking after our country.
“The troubles we have in our communities and in the wider society, is an indication of fathers not leading well at home.
“Whether employed or unemployed, basic ethics is to take care of your children. “So let’s not only celebrate Mother’s Day on the second Sunday of May, Rachael (wife) knows I don’t believe in this, but to be appreciative every day. “To all Mothers ‘Happy Mother’s Day’.”
