Amateur golf event to start

THE Papua New Guinea Golf Amateur Championship will tee off tomorrow at the Mt Hagen Golf Club with golf enthusiasts around the country gearing up for the four-day event.
Participants for the championship will be finalised and announced today following the closure of registration yesterday, as the pristine greens of Kagamuga stand ready to witness exciting displays of skill and sportsmanship.
With Mt Hagen’s challenging course and scenic surroundings, the championship not only serves as a platform for fierce competition but also as a celebration of the enduring passion for the sport in the country.
The tournament promises excitement with teams from all over the country as far as Bulolo, have gathered for the event.
