ANZ named regional bank of the year

 ANZ has been recognised as Asia Pacific Bank of the Year 2013 by the readers and editors of Thomson Reuters’ Project Finance International (PFI) magazine.

ANZ’s global head of project and structured finance Paul Finn said: “This is the highest recognition from our clients, collaborators and peers in what is undoubtedly the most competitive region of the global project finance market.”  

The award specifically recognises ANZ’s extensive product offering across a wide range of geographies, noting a debt advisory engagement on the XePianXeNamnoy hydropower project in Laos, an advisory-financing of the Port Moresby Airport expansion in Papua New Guinea, PFI said.
