ANZ has opened its first corporate centre in Waigani, Port Moresby last Thursday, as part of its commitment to convenient banking for its institutional and large corporate customers.
This shows the move on the sale of its retail, small and medium enterprises and commercial banking businesses to Kina Bank is completed this year.
ANZ country head Mark Baker said Waigani would be one of three new corporate centres to open, with Lae opening today and Goroka in March next year.
The new corporate centres would feature secure deposit facilities, cash and counter services, secure parking and private meeting spaces.
Under the Network Extension Partnership agreement signed by ANZ and Kina, institutional and large corporate customers outside of the new corporate centre location would be able to use Kina branches for cash withdrawals, as well as cash and cheque deposits.
