Appeal to fix market issues

Letters

AS a regular visitor to Lae main market, I agree with the changes by market coordinator Rocky Pari to allow growers to sell their produces.
This was in accordance with the Lae Market publication of July, 31 2019, were I called on authorities to do such changes, and it happened.
Thank you for that, keep up the good work.
However, some changes made were not in the interest of market sellers.
The house which was initially built for chicken growers, is now being used for storing bags of kaukau.
Instead, this house is now also used by youths to smoke and drink.
Are they paying rent to the market authorities?
Moreover, the container offices was built to be used as ticket offices, but they are not using it.
These containers are standing idle and occupying space for the sellers.
On behalf of the sellers, can the authorities fix those issues so we all can enjoy doing businesses there?
Those using the area as their storage place, should pay for rent.
For the ticket containers, it should be removed, or it is better to allow people to rent out these containers so we can have extra funds for market development.
