Appointments boost for leadership

THE Revival Centres Church Assembly added to its leadership and ministry strength by appointing nine brothers to leadership roles recently.
The new appointments included Ps Vincent Maim promoted to area leader; area leaders Yuwo Sani, Sasae Ray and Jack Abkosa promoted to house meeting leaders; and, Paias Waikure, Michael Avoa, Andy Salatum and Vernon Gebia now leaders from brothers.
Pr Sacky Gebia and district pastor Tasman Dotaona, who conducted the series, reminded the appointees to be humble servants.
Pr Dotaona highlighted, in his remarks, that being a leader was about being wiling and ready to “accept criticism and move forward”.
“There’s always a lot of challenges to overcome and being involved in proclaiming God’s word,” he said.
Pr Dotaona quoted Timothy 5:17-18: “The elders who direct the affairs of the church well are worthy of double honours, especially those whose work is preaching and teaching.”
