The Papua New Guinea Football Association (PNGFA) is embarking on strategies to improve the sport in the country.
Acting president John Wesley Gonjuan said the growth of football in the country remained PNGFA’s priority.
He said plans were in place for the expansion of football across the country to benefit the code in the long run.
With the conclusion of the National Soccer League, the next project on the cards is the PNGFA U17 Youth Festival to kick off during the school holiday this month followed by the Besta FA Cup, the inter-association competition that pits all of the member associations and associates against each other.
