THE National Sports Trust Limited (NSTL) is putting its foot down on the use of its facilities, according to an official.
This will affect netball, softball, soccer and rugby union at Bisini, with the user-pay policy coming into effect this week.
NSTL chief executive David Aua told The National over the weekend that his organisation would not entertain the use of its facilities by sports on a credit basis.
“They all have to pay up front before given the approval to use the facilities.
“No payment, no use and that’s it.”
Aua said due to the tough financial times affecting the country, sports intending to use the facilities should pay first.
“We will no longer accept any sport on credit basis, as we can’t sustain our operations this way.
“We have maintenance and others costs to worry about in operating all our facilities.”
