Auditors, undertakers win to maintain top spots in 9s comp

PRICEWATERHOUSECOOPERS and the Funeral Home are the two unbeaten teams after round five of the Port Moresby Corporate Rugby League Nines competition played at Bava Park last Saturday.
PWC beat Department of Finance 20-12 and Funeral Home saw off Bank South Pacific by the same score to remain on top of the competition after competition pace setter Spidertek were shocked 10-6 by National Sports Trust Ltd.
Funeral Home and PWC share the number one position on the ladder with 15 points each but separated by for-and-against followed by Property PNG 14, Spidertek 13, NCDC (2) 13, ANZ Bank 13, Northbuild 13 and Brian Bell (2) 11, round off the top eight.
Sportz Events director Solomon Ravu said that after round seven the top 16 will be confirmed for the play offs on Oct 10 at the National Football Stadium.
