Authority assists community

THE Nawaeb development authority presented a cheque for K20,000 to ward 16 of Ahi local level government in Kamkumung, Lae, to fix its main road on Monday.
The money was presented by Nawaeb MP Kennedy Wenge and received by Ahi LLG president Malcolm Kalo, who handed it over to ward 16 councillor Michael Maxico Jr in the presence of community members.
Maxico thanked Wenge and Kalo for their help and added that it was the first time his community had received direct assistance of this kind.
He said the assistance was timely.
