Awesa attacks Agiru

MEMBER for Imbonggu Francis Awesa has called on Southern Highlands Governor Anderson Agiru to support the government of Prime Minister Peter O’Neill.
“Agiru should be proud that O’Neill is the first prime minister from Southern Highlands,” he said.
Awesa said claims by Agiru that certain government members were held captives during the recent political stand-off were not true.
“The is an insult to the people of Southern Highlands and Hela and to O’Neill as our prime minister.”
He called on Agiru to bring other Southern Highlands MPs to join the government.
