THE Mama Bank is celebrating its 10th anniversary by empowering women and promoting financial inclusion in the country and giving members a “loyalty card” each.
Chief executive officer Gunanidi Das said there would be new products introduced for customers too as the bank continues to expand.
“We have reached out to 10 provinces with 19 branches established throughout the country,” Das said.
“We want to reach out and provide services to customers especially mothers and young women.”
The bank handed out the first 10 loyalty cards to 10 women during the celebration.
The loyalty card will enable the members to access 15 per cent discounts on City Pharmacy products and services through a partnership.
Attending the anniversary celebration were chairman Noel Noringku, board of director’s Ticky Mitio, City Pharmacy Limited Group chief executive officer Navin Raju and women in Port Moresby yesterday.
Das thanked the CPL Group and said the bank would work with them to ensure women and mothers could benefit through micro, small-medium businesses.
Raju said the CPL Group had been supporting women-related projects.
“We will buy a lot of products from you,” he said.
