Bank selects staff for leadership training

 BANK South Pacific Limited has selected 20 employees to undergo a leadership and management development programme.

BSP chief executive officer Robin Fleming said the bank aimed to develop and cultivate the leadership capabilities of potential leaders at different levels of management in the bank.

The 2016 programme includes employees from BSP Fiji, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Samoa and the Cook Islands. 

PNG staff selected included Dennis Lamus, Dennis Konu, Igo Douna, Ruby Arabella Patu, Roslyn Hoping, Taivu Togimwara, Annette Naita, Joseph Was, Stella Bogino, Richard Supo, Bertha Auwi and Rachel Nanai.

Staff from BSP Pacific operations are  Ravindra Singh and Michael Nacola from Fiji,  Maryanne Lameko Vaai and Darlene Savai Inaea from Samoa, Emele Siniteke Hia from Tonga, Massey Mateariki from Cook Islands, Joyce Nukumuna and Ossie Takola from Solomon Islands.

They will undertake a variety of leadership and management skills development programmes with organisations such as the Melbourne Business School and INSEAD.

They will also undergo coaching and mentoring programmes and secondments within the BSP group, and off-shore with international organisations such as the Bank of Philippine Islands.
