Bank South Pacific is urging its customers to buy  goods and services using its electronic channels such as EFTPoS to reduce the risk of handling too much cash.

The bank has the largest network of EFTPoS, with more than 13,000 terminals across the country.

These devices are available at fuel stations, hotels, supermarkets, trade stores, hospitals, tucker shops, among others.

The daily limits for customers using a KunduCard on the EFTPoS to purchase goods are up to K15,000 and are allowed a daily limit K2000 out.

For BSP Visa Debit Card holders the limits are higher.

The bank said its wireless EFTPoS is now a hit among businesses that do deliveries and customers simply use BSP cards instead of cash.
