Barras coach gets new wheels

BOROKO Motors is one of Papua New Guinea’s premier outlet to buy new and used vehicles.
So it came as a pleasant surprise to Cricket PNG national team coach Joe Dawes, pictured, when he got a new vehicle from the dealer.
An avid roadie himself, Dawes was keen to explore the areas around Port Moresby and needed a sturdy vehicle that survives the traffic in the city as well as gives him a comfortable ride off-road.
“When I moved here, I understood immediately that I would need a vehicle to get around town for my various duties as a coach,” Dawes said on receiving the Isuzu D-Max double cab. “The team over at Boroko Motors could not have been more helpful with a vehicle that suits my lifestyle. The dual cab is perfect for work and play,” he said.
Dawes’ new ute is also perfect to carry all his cricket gear, needed to train the Hebou PNG Barramundis, the City Pharmacy PNG Lewas and the Hebou PNG Under-19 Garamuts. .
