Be fair to all taxpayers

WHILE I sympathise with their plight, I do not see why those who illegally settled in Town at Paga Hill, Port Moresby, and were evicted some years back were given free lands and land titles.
The average Papua New Guinean is paying all sorts of fees and these people are getting free lands and houses?
Where is the rational explanation behind this stupidity?
Free State leases and allotments for squatters is nonsense.
A sought after asset such as State land titles shouldn’t be dished out free of charge when mortgage and loan repayment rates are sky high.
What sort of madness is this?
There are people out there grinding to earn a living ‘the proper way’.
I call on all those who struggle with rent to come and let us go and illegally settle on State land.
That way, we will get free land, houses and titles.
It seems this will be the norm moving forward.
Instead of taking PNG forward, we are going backwards.
Is this another scheme just to collect votes?
It’s about time hardworking residents who actually pay for their homes and vehicles and follow government regulations to stand up and talk about this.
