Believe in God, don’t attack other churches

Letters

I WISH to advise the public about a nasty confrontation with a preacher yesterday morning at Boroko, Port Moresby in front of the post office.
The preacher was a man, believed to be between 18 and 21 years of age.
This preacher was indirectly using the Word of God the Bible to smear other churches, especially the Catholic church and their belief in St Mary.
I walked up to the preacher and told him that he should preach about winning souls for the Kingdom of Heaven then using the Bible to assassinate the doctrines of the Catholic church and their prayers to Mother Mary. Suddenly, I was verbally abused.
People were shouting at me to shut up and some followers rushed to attack me.
One of the man in the crowd came and pushed me at the back, calling me a devil, Satan.
I told the crowd I didn’t say anything bad about their church and their beliefs.
Some other people came and dispelled the argument and I left.
We know that God is love.
So if God is love, He cannot use somebody and later regard them as something of no value.
That will be contradictory.
All humans have love for their mothers so if God is born from Mother Mary, who is the channel of light to the world, then she has some recognition in the council of Heaven.
The road to Heaven is not an easy road and many have fallen on the path.
I discovered that Catholic church has many safety nets.
When you fall or backslide while seeking the Kingdom of God, you can pray to the angels, saints, prophets, apostles and Mother Mary and your prayers will be answered.
This is for backsliders who have lost all hope.
I don’t believe in denominations.
I base my belief in the Almighty God, His Spirit and Jesus Christ.
I worship in the Catholic and Assemblies of God (Pentecostal) churches.
I have to discover my true self in God by employing different approaches.
After all, going to Heaven is an individual journey and no church or denomination will guarantee you safe passage to Heaven, but only the name of Jesus Christ, and He should reside in your heart as your password to Heaven.
