Ben Affleck has reportedly “come to his senses” about his whirlwind romance with Jennifer Lopez, as the pair are rumoured to be divorcing.
Jennifer Lopez is about to be the next Gone Girl.
Ben Affleck has “come to his senses” about his failing marriage to the singer and knows they are headed for a divorce, a source tells Page Six exclusively.
“If there was a way to divorce on grounds of temporary insanity, he would,” our insider shares.
“He feels like the last two years was just a fever dream, and he’s come to his senses now and understands there is just no way this is going to work.”
Reps for Affleck and Lopez didn’t return Page Six’s numerous requests for comment.
The Grammy nominee, 54, and the Air actor, 51, first sparked split rumours when she attended the 2024 Met Gala solo earlier this month despite serving as one of the exclusive event’s co-chairs.
Upon further examination, fans realised that the Gigli co-stars had not been photographed together in more than a month.
Potentially having seen the headlines about their sudden inconspicuousness, Lopez and Affleck made sure to be spotted attending his child Seraphina’s school play together last week; however, the sighting did not lessen fan concern about Bennifer 2.0’s marriage, as the Hustlers star had “liked” an Instagram post about unhealthy relationships.
Sources also told Page Six that Affleck has been “househunting” around Los Angeles while living separately from his spouse. We were also told that Lopez was doing the same, though an insider clarified she was merely searching for an investment property.
The Oscar winner and JLo again stepped out together again over the weekend, but Affleck, who was wearing his wedding ring, appeared flustered as the pair made their way through a parking garage toward an elevator bank to gain entry into Soho House.
Earlier in the day, the couple attended a movie event with their kids and seemed to send a message with the Good Will Hunting star’s phone.
As he drove off with Lopez in the passenger seat, Affleck made sure to give a paparazzo a glimpse of his cellphone, which showed he was receiving a call from “Jennifer Affleck” — despite their proximity.

Scarlett ‘shocked’ by AI chatbot imitation
Scarlett Johansson

Hollywood star Scarlett Johansson, pictured, has said she was left “shocked” and “angered” after OpenAI launched a chatbot with an “eerily similar” voice to her own.
The actress said she had previously turned down an approach by the company to voice its new chatbot, which reads text aloud to users.
When the new model, called Sky, debuted last week commentators were quick to draw comparisons between the chatbot’s tone and Johansson’s in the 2013 film Her.
OpenAI said on Monday that it would remove the voice, but insisted that it was not meant to be an “imitation” of the star.
However, Johansson accused the company, and its founder Sam Altman, of deliberately copying her voice, in a statement seen by the BBC on Monday evening.
“When I heard the released demo, I was shocked, angered and in disbelief that Mr Altman would pursue a voice that sounded so eerily similar to mine,” she wrote.
“Mr Altman even insinuated that the similarity was intentional, tweeting a single word ‘her’ – a reference to the film in which I voiced a chat system, Samantha, who forms an intimate relationship with a human.”
The actress, who has been nominated for two Academy Awards, said she had been initially approached by Mr Altman about voicing the new chatbot in September.
“[Mr Altman] told me that he felt that by my voicing the system, I could bridge the gap between tech companies and creatives and help consumers to feel comfortable with the seismic shift concerning humans and AI,” Johansson wrote.

Katy sings goodbye to ‘American Idol’
Katy Perry

Katy Perry, pictured, said her goodbyes on American Idol after seven seasons.
Last week live Idol season finale, a medley of Perry’s hit songs were performed, including Teenage Dream, Dark Horse and California Gurls.
Perry jumped onto the judges’ table after the performance.
In the three-hour finale, Perry also performed What Makes a Woman. She had announced in February that she would be leaving the ABC singing competition.
Season 22 also crowned a winner during the finale, with Abi Carter winning after singing the Billie Eilish hit, What Was I Made For?
Perry is headed to Brazil this fall for the Rock in Rio music festival, which would conflict with “Idol’s” production schedule.

Video appears to show rap mogul beating girlfriend
Cassie and Diddy

CCTV footage has emerged appearing to show rap mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, attacking singer Casandra “Cassie” Ventura in a hotel hallway in 2016. The video, aired by CNN, has surfaced in the wake of allegations by Ventura about her ex-boyfriend and producer in a lawsuit last year.
She has not commented but her lawyer said it confirmed “the disturbing and predatory behaviour of Mr Combs”. A lawyer for Combs has not responded to a BBC request for comment. The BBC has not independently verified the video, which appears to be a compilation of surveillance footage angles dated 5 March 2016.
According to CNN, it was filmed at the now-closed InterContinental Hotel in Century City, Los Angeles.
The clip appears to show Ventura leaving a hotel room to walk towards a row of elevators.
A shirtless man is seen holding a towel around his waist, and hurrying down a hallway.
When he catches up to her, he grabs her and throws her on the floor, causing her to drop some luggage. He kicks her while she is on the ground, before picking up her bags and kicking her a second time then attempting to drag her by her shirt. -BBC

Travis reveals his favourite Taylor Swift era
Travis Kelce

Travis Kelce, pictured, knows he’s “biased,” but he’s pretty open about where his heart lies.
At his second annual Kelce Jam music festival, the professional football player was asked about his favourite musical era of his girlfriend Taylor Swift’s career.
“I’m a big ‘1989’ fan,” Kelce told Access Hollywood. But I’m not going to lie, I may be a little biased towards ‘The Tortured Poets Department.’ Just a little bit.”
Makes sense given that many listeners believe Kelce may have inspired a song or two on The Tortured Poets Department, Swift’s latest album.
As for which of her songs he’d include in his music festival, which he puts on in Kansas City as a thank you to the supporters of the team he plays for, the Kansas City Chief tight end took a minute to consider.
“‘So High School’ is the only one that’s coming to my mind now,” he said. – CNN
