HEAD of the Anglican Church in Papua New Guinea acting archbishop Bishop Nathan Ingen has urged Anglicans to get the Coronavirus (Covid-19) vaccine.
“Plenty people will say God is with us (he is our protection),” Bishop Ingen said.
“But God has given the skills and knowledge to the specialists to create this vaccine.
“So we must all get the jab to avoid getting sick.”
He said Anglicans and the clergy would do more awareness because many people in the villages did not know about the dangers of the Covid-19.
“Some have heard about it, but they think the disease won’t affect them because they live in the villages,” he said.
“But this disease has gone to all parts of the country.
“We must all raise awareness and get the jab.
“This vaccine will not kill us, it will save our life.”
