Blame the players, not the coach

SO much has been expressed about the performance of the Kumuls.

Some criticisms are true, but I do not think we should point fingers at Adrian Lam.

Lam, with the assistance of Mal Meninga, decided to run training camps to prepare the players physically and mentally before the World Cup.

As a fan, I do not blame the coach. The  blame lies with the players.

Previous players had no proper training facilities but were able to beat the Kiwis and Great Britain because they were physically and mentally fit.

Today’s Kumuls cannot even apply what they have learned from legends such as Lam and Meninga on the field.
