Bmobile giving away free Sim cards at outlets

BMOBILE, in its continued effort to providing best value to customers, is now giving away free Sim (subscriber identity module) cards at its retail outlets available for a limited time.
A spokesperson said they saw this as a great opportunity to encourage new customers to join bmobile without the standard cost of a new SIM card which is usually retailing for K10.
“We want to remove that possible hindrance and encourage more customers to join bmobile and start enjoying our cheap mobile data plans and best valued Moa pack bundles.
“This is a limited time offer,” the spokesperson said.
“This offer is available at the following bmobile retail outlets: Waterfront, 9-Mile Plaza, Jackson Airport’s domestic terminal, Boroko Post Office all in Port Moresby; Papindo mall in Lae; and, Kagamuga Airport in Mt Hagen.
“It is also available at bmobile retail stores at Vision City, Telikom Rumana, Jackson international terminal, Lae branch office, Bird of Paradise Hotel commercial block in Goroka, at the sales promotion teams in Lae, Goroka, Mt Hagen and Madang.
“The public are encouraged to check our Facebook page or webpage for updates on availability of free Sims.”
Bmobile noted that as part of the National Information Communication Technology Authority’s (Nicta) requirements for mobile subscribers to register their Sim cards where subscribers would have to provide a valid identification or document and was physically present at the place of registration, it was also part of their promotional terms and conditions for subscribers to receive their free SIM cards.
“They are required to have their SIM registered as per Nicta regulations. There is a limit of one per customer.”
Bmobile also added that the MOA week pack includes unlimited on-net calls, 30 minutes off-net calls, 30 SMS and 300MB – valid for seven days valued at over K52.
